Description: The purpose of the study was to determine whether or not Saudi Arabian women head teachers are beginning to develop leadership skills in line with the Ministry of Education's Vision 2030 by examining practitioners' perspectives of the distinction between management and leadership. The study's overall goals include understanding how much head teachers in girls' schools understand leadership as opposed to administration and investigating potential leadership models for Saudi Arabia's educational system. This chapter includes background information about Saudi Arabian culture and the evolution of the educational system.
