Assessing the Importance of Communication in Maintaining Quality and Timely Delivery of Project Activities

Description: Communication is one of the cornerstones of project management. The success or failure of a project largely depends on the efficiency of its communication process. The main objective of this research is to assess the role of communication in maintaining quality and timely delivery of project activities throughout the project’s life cycle. The researcher collected data using both primary and secondary sources. The primary data by means of a structured questionnaire using qualitative research approach, supported by a comprehensive literature review as a secondary source. The research findings revealed that effective communication has strong positive impact on projects' activities and confirmed the key role it plays to ensure project is delivered successfully. The study underlined the need of understanding hindrances that impact efficient communication, so mitigations are prepared.
